Georgia House Renovation
Project Overview
- Year: 2022
- Project Name: Georgia House Renovation
Location: Georgia
This project involved the transformation of a former residential home into a functional service center, now divided into 9 service suites.
Several key modifications were made to both the structure and exterior of the property:
- Carport Removal and Space Expansion:
The existing carport was removed, and the space it occupied was incorporated into the main area of the house, increasing the overall usable space. This allowed for more efficient use of the layout and enhanced the interior functionality.
- Replacement of Doors and Windows:
All doors and windows were replaced to modernize the building’s appearance and improve energy efficiency. The new designs not only offer better performance but also complement the updated aesthetic of the property.
- Facade Redesign:
The entire facade of the house was redesigned, including the application of new brickwork. This alteration significantly transformed the exterior, giving the building a fresh, contemporary look that aligns with its new purpose as a service center.
- Landscaping and Outdoor Design:
The landscaping around the building was carefully planned and executed to enhance both functionality and aesthetics. New elements such as pathways, green spaces, and outdoor seating areas were added to create a welcoming and functional outdoor environment.
- Shade Structures:
A new shade structure was added to provide protection from the elements and enhance the comfort of visitors and residents. This addition improves the usability of outdoor spaces, making them more accessible year-round.
