Architectural Design & Permit Plans

At FAST BUILD, we don’t see design and construction as separate steps but as two sides of the same coin. Our Design-Build model keeps us involved all the way, from the first sketch to the final build. There’s no handover, no dilution of thought and no compromises in building.

It’s crucial to keep you involved throughout the process to ensure the final design aligns with their needs and taste, which is also how our process begins. After gathering information from you, the mechanical, structural, and architectural departments work together to ensure the design meets all necessary criteria. Our experience in the market has allowed us to work with different manufacturers, giving us more options for selecting materials, which leads to better quality and lower cost. Our firm can also help you modify existing design plans to ensure your building meets your needs.

Design & Execution Process

  • Step 1 : If you already have a floor plan, we can revise and improve it based on your requested changes. For new projects, you can provide basic measurements, a simple hand sketch, and any ideas you have for your  space. Photos and videos are always helpful and allow us to better understand the existing conditions.
  • Step 2 : We schedule a meeting with you to fully understand your goals, lifestyle, design preferences, and overall vision for the project. Based on this information, we develop and present the initial design concept and first draft.
  • Step 3 : After reviewing the design together and finalizing all revisions, we prepare and submit the drawings for city permit approval. If any updates or corrections are requested during the approval process, we continue working closely with you until final approval is achieved.

We can then modify the plans accordingly. The cost of revising an existing plan is generally lower than creating a completely new design from scratch.
